The magazine claims Madonna arrived in Lisbon at 8am on Tuesday, and is living at the luxury Pestana Palace hotel.
It’s believed she is staying at the hotel while a €7.5 million (A$11.2 million) home she purchased in Sintra, a town 30 minutes out of Lisbon, is renovated.
Madonna’s son David had a trial with Benfica earlier this year and was accepting into its training club.
Madonna adopted David in 2006. He is one of four children she adopted from Malawi.
Benfica are the biggest club in Portugal, having won their domestic league title a record 36 times
